Questions about this policy: privacy@somedayconsultants.com

Information we collect and how we use it

The categories of personal information we collect will vary depending on our specific relationship with you and the context.

Form submissions. When you submit an intake form or request a downloadable resource (positioning chapter or deal post-mortem), we collect your name, work email address, and, for the intake form, your firm's annual revenue range, number of equity owners, and transition timeline. We use this information to deliver the resource you requested, to schedule and conduct an advisory call if you have submitted the intake form, and to send a single follow-up message approximately two weeks after a resource download.

Marketing. We rely on our legitimate interest in direct marketing to use your email for follow-up communications. We will inform you before sending marketing messages unless this is obvious from the circumstances. Where applicable law requires consent, your submission of the intake form or resource request constitutes consent to such processing. You may ask us not to process your personal information for marketing purposes at any time by emailing privacy@somedayconsultants.com or by clicking “unsubscribe” in any email we send.

Automatic data. Our infrastructure and analytics tools automatically collect standard technical data when you visit the site, including IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and pages viewed (via Cloudflare infrastructure logs and analytics); session behavior data (via Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and session recording); and advertising and conversion signals (via LinkedIn Insight Tag, Google Analytics 4, and Meta Pixel/Conversions API).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Cookies

We provide notice of our cookie collection through this policy. We use cookies (small text files placed on your device) and similar tracking technologies to ensure the site functions correctly and to analyze how it is used. These may include advertising cookies used to build audiences for retargeting on LinkedIn, Google, and Meta platforms. We do not currently display a cookie consent banner; by using this site, you consent to the use of these technologies as described here. If you are concerned about cookies, most web browsers allow you to opt out of receiving them or to delete existing cookies, though some site functionality may be affected.

Cold outreach

Someday Consultants conducts B2B cold email outreach as part of its business development. If you received a cold email from us and want to stop receiving future messages, reply to that email with an unsubscribe request or email privacy@somedayconsultants.com. Your address will be suppressed from all future sends within 10 business days.

Sharing your information

We share personal information only as described below.

Service providers. We share data with the following providers who process it on our behalf:

Advisors and professionals. We may share information with our agents, legal counsel, accountants, IT service providers, insurers, and other professional advisors who assist us with legal, administrative, financial, or operational matters, subject to confidentiality obligations.

Legal requirements. We will disclose information when required by applicable law, court order, or a regulatory or law enforcement authority. We do not otherwise sell or disclose your personal information to third parties.

Security and confidentiality

We operate a range of technical, administrative, and procedural controls to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction, or damage. These include firewalls, encryption, and access controls on our systems. All partners and staff who handle personal information are subject to confidentiality obligations and receive appropriate data protection training. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure; while we do our best to protect your information, any such transmission is at your own risk.

Data breaches

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in a high risk of adversely affecting your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay, where legally permitted, via email or other appropriate means.

Data retention

We retain form submission data for as long as it is relevant to an active or prospective advisory engagement, and for up to three years thereafter unless you request deletion sooner. Analytics and infrastructure log data is retained according to each provider's standard retention schedule.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing privacy@somedayconsultants.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are located in a jurisdiction with specific data privacy rights (such as California under CCPA or the European Economic Area under GDPR), those rights apply to the extent required by applicable law.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we materially change this policy, we will update the “last updated” date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
